Interesting article and videos. I suspect the bill for all of this was, to some extent,  footed by FoMoCo.  And while the EcoBoost prevented a level playing field, it is good to see Lincoln re-entering the real automotive world. If they could only get that rear end out of the air (looks too much like a Buick)!  Enjoyed the videos!

(dadog) have you driven the MKS or the EcoBoost?  I think if you get behind the wheel you'd see what they are talking about here.  I've driven one at a dealer and it's fast.  I hear you that the BMW is good but for less money you can get a sweet engine.  Also, i'd assume less maintence costs on the MKS

Ok how about Lincoln, building a car people in America would by for $55K,  

A LINCOLN MKS SHO....    

Tighten the suspension, bigger tires, active steering....  please america, build me a car i would be proud to own.  I still love my BMW 5.
