Louie, quick question, are you on drugs? Lincoln has more class and history then Mercedes-Benz? Maserati? Jaguar? BMW? Are you insane? Benz was formed before Lincoln was even a thought.

This test is completely pointless also. No one is going to cross shop the Lincoln if they are looking to pony up the cash for a Maserati, Mercedes, Jaguar or BMW. Sorry Lincoln. Not to mention the obvious advantages the Lincoln received in the testing. I own an '06 Grand Marquis and an '06 S500 and I'd have to say you'd be insane to take the Lincoln over these other cars. Plus I think it's very unattractive, looks like any other Ford/Lincoln product (boring). That being said, I'm glad to see that Ford is back on track with it's new models. I'm sure it's a fine car, but the comparison is pretty stupid if you ask me.

For those who are wondering, The resaon you would do such a test at high altitudes to to show to what extremes these machines can operate. At that altitude, (about 2 miles over sea level) the air is thin and performace drops. I beleive that the test was fair and shos that the country that made the automobile wideley available can still compete with the countries that now hold the majority of luxury market share. Also another good comaprison test would be between these cars and the new Taurus SHO. Way to to FoMoCo, taking steps in the right direction.

FoMoCo is slowly heading in the right direction. The Mustang, MKZ and Taurus SHO are great performance vehicles while the Fusion is a good all round car. However, this "test" is nonsense. It is unfairly stacked against these other great cars. I find it exceedingly disappointing that Ford(if they paid for this stunt) and these poor excuses of  magazines would attempt to cheat and throw BS at the public to somehow prove something. Most disappointing.

Its about time Lincoln gets some credit! I own the MKS. Its bigger and better than all of these European handbags! Every soccer mom has a 5 series or E-Class! The new E-Class looks just like the Hyundai! I have parked next to all of these cars. My car looks like its going to eat them like a little Euro snack. Lincoln has more class and history than all of these cars! Most of all its American!

I thought this "comparison test" was going to actually show what Ford can do with an aging Volvo platform.  12,000 feet though?  Who lives at 12,000 feet?  Why not have an under water race?  How about from Long Beach to Catalina, underwater.  Yep, thats how stupid this whole website is.
