Lincoln MKS rocks!

The current Focus RS uses a Volvo sourced single turbo I-5.

*Let me clarify, I meant a V6 EcoBoost Focus RS, not the I4.  And I don't expect Ford to do it, it'd be an aftermarket thing.

But I still give props to Ford for coming up with this engine, I just wish it was labeled "TT" to let all know that this is a TWIN TURBO, which is infinitely cooler than "EcoBoost".  Think about it, would you rather say "I drive a Ford with  EcoBoost" or "I drive a twin turbo Ford"?  Furthermore, I think that with this technology, Ford has become a serious competitor.  Just remember that performance is not why people buy BMW, Masers, Mercs, etc.  If you simply wanted a fast car, go buy an Evo or STI, which would both run rings around these cars, especially if tuned to the price points of these luxo cars (assuming they aren’t the most basic models). However, for a dash of speed with your luxury, I don’t know how the Lincoln holds up.  Now I’m just waiting for someone to make a AWD TT Euro-spec Focus RS.
